I have never heard of anyone putting an SH head on their H22a for more power or doing the swap anyway. I think you may be a little confused about what you are talking about.

Hey, im new to the Forum, but I have a Prelude and a Similar question to this one.

I have the H23..... I heard you can attach the VTEC heads to it and it would boost power..... i think the kid referred to it as "Frankensteining" it.

But he has been known to be wrong in the past.... wondering if theres any truth to that.

Im trying to get the most power out of my h23 before i go BOOST

no will not get any better performance from switching those heads. they are the same.

yes you can put a vtec head on a h23, but if your going to boost it just biuld your block instead of doing a head swap. it will be safer and you will be able to get more power without blowing something up.

The h22 head takes boost much better, and also flows much more effiecently than the 23 head does
