ive taken the camshafts, bearings, and spark plugs out of my h22a4 (yr1999), and once the camshafts came out, they each revealed 4 circular shaped "bolt heads", but they look round and are fairly large (roughly 15mm). do i need to worry with these or is there something else im missing??? if so, how do i remove them? i need my head completely removed soon. any input would be helpful.

those are the headbolts.
That would be how you remove the head. Id suggest buying a helms manual before you go any further. They need to be loosened in sequence and in 3 separate steps.

if your gonna have the head off take it somewhere and have them resurface and true it, if you do that just take the headbolts out, from the middle and work your way out, any warpage will be corrected by the surface grind, and make sure you use a 12 point socket!!!

well my problem is the headbolts look completely round (no hex head). how do i remove these with a socket, or is the roundness my imagination? and if so, what size do i need to remove it???
RTFM
if the roundness is not your imagination then you are fucked.
usually you need a 12 point socket to remove those bolts thouhg.

There should be 10 of them, not 4. Are you looking at the casting plugs maybe? The head bolts are 14mm and 6 or 12 point depending on year. Get a manual, it will be helpful.
