The first picture: The one of the left goes to the thermastat housing. It connects to the bottom right of the first picture, seems that the sensor is broken. (Purpleish in color)
The second picture: The top connector above goes to the starter. The connector below goes to the temp gauge? Not too sure what sensor it it, but it connects to te rigt side of the head(below the distributor)

1st pic, the smaller plug goes on that broken sensor in the pic, and the bigger plug goes on the vehicle speed sensor on the transmission...kinda hard to find
2nd pic the 1st plug goes on the starter and the other plug goes on the head under the distributor for the temp gauge.

Re: (mixmastermatt)
in your first pic, the thermostat housing where the hose from the rad. to that housing goes is a purpleish sensor that is broke off on your housing. thats where your green plug would go if the sensor wasnt broke

the goldish quarter sized piece in the very bottom right of the first pic...thats the broken sensor and its where the green connector plugs into...the sensor is a coolant temp switch, not sure exactly what it does but your car will run fine without it BUT watch the temp gauge
