Default Hard to Steer

I hit a huge pothole on the expressway at about 80mph about two weeks ago. Since I have gotten my car aligned and the tire that hit the pot hole replaced. I think there is a small dent in the rim, but the tire place said it balanced fine.

Since the incident I have noticed it takes more effort to turn the stearing wheel. Have any of you guys noticed this in the past, or am I just making stuff up? I dont think I bent anything, and the tire place said they didnt notice anything bent, but it still feels different. Any ideas?

Also check your tie rods. See if they are bent. Maybe it's bent near the rack. I know I nicked a curb last week. (1st time I have hit anything) and now it is a little more difficult to turn the wheels at a stop.
