Default H23 Stroker?

Does anyone know if you can get a stroked kit for the H23 motors found in the 92-96 prelude Si?

R&D Dyno from Socal offers a "H series" Stroker kit to push it out to 2.6L, but I don't know if that will work with this engine, or if it was intended for the h22.....

i mean i'm sure it can be done. but if you go much higher in stroke, wouldnt you have to worry about piston to valve clearance.....even worse have to possibly deck the block to clear?

I have no idea....I'm thinking about picking up an H23A for my prelude S and stroking th hell outta it for fun. But I really know nothing about that motor at all.

the f23 crank has 97mm stroke that you can use but you may as well use the whole motor and get rid of the gay h series softer sleeves

You can offset grind the H23 crank to 97.5 or 98mm. Castillos in La Mirada, California does excellent work. Crower or R&DDyno can make you a custom one. When I called Crower they wanted 4k.

Not for the heavy BB!! If it was a Civic that would be great.

I think stroking the motor is worth it. Hell, look at 2point6

I basically have a F23 crank'd H23 (97mm). You can do a little work to your block and get the F23 to work but like stated above for about the same amount of work you can have the H23 crank reground to 98mm. It is a lot of work for minimal gains in displacement in your case though...
