sending my head to portflow to get a P & P ($875). i have a 93 si non-vtec. considering getting new springs and retainers from portflow ($310). car will be N/A for now, but soon will be turbo. block is being rebuilt with a 9.0:1 CR. it is a daily driver. any opinions on what else i may want to do to the head while i'm playing around with it?

 

also going to get a top end kit with gaskets, etc.

Sounds good. I got the same thing almost on my head. Got P&P and had to get customs springs made that r reaaaal stiff. Get SS valves for sure.
Its an expensive mod, might be dissapointed in ur HP:Money spent ratio afterwards though....

 

i will be getting new springs. i was thinking about portflow's springs and retainers kit. has anyone used them? were you satisfied? what is so special about SS valves?
