We all know that you are biased to the H22, And yes they are an incredible engine but the H23 is by no means "JUNK"

I sleeved and boosted my h23 and am making over 400 whp while still getting 25-28 miles to the gallon(highway). I think you guys got a little off track with the homo hetero and age thing. To answer the question....bone stock sure the h22 has its benefits over the h23 and the h23 makes better haul your *** out of the hole power. Either way boosted is the way to go. It will be cheaper to just boost the h23 vs. swapping then having to boost anyway.

I enjoy my n/a h23... lots of torque. I do, however, have the three essentials, raised compression, cams, and exhaust, a better header would be nice though. The h23 is under estimated.
