I have an H2B swapped crx, and recently it threw CEL 8 for the TDC sensor. Found a mess of butt connectors in place of the plugs that attach the sensor wires to the harness. I went ahead and re-connected them a few times. Every time I connect them the car will run great for about 5 minutes than proceed to break up if I give more than 1/4 throttle. Only now the check engine light is gone.. if anyone can offer up some good advice it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

 

i would solder the connections. if it still has this problem try a different dizzy. possibly a bad ignition control module if it does it once it heats up.
