Default H22A Problems...

Ok, I've browsed this forum for a while now and I was wondering a couple things on my 93 H22a JDM motor in my accord...Idk if this is the right place to post it or what but here it goes...
The car wants to idle perfectly fine when cold and sometimes a little high...1k area...When it warms up it acts like it wants to die when i come back down to an idle but doesn't completely die. So, I installed a new TPS sensor and that didn't do the trick. Also, the car wants to run so rich it shoots black soot out the exhaust resulting in horrible gas mileage. When I tried hooking a code reader up to my car at Autozone and such it just say operator error? I've cleaned the whole throttle body and such as the FITV and all those with no results. When I give the car more the 1/2 throttle its acts like it just wants to nose down and bogs horribly...Usually around 5lbs of vacuum If it's more than 5lbs it will run fine. This has been an on-going problem for awhile...Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Oh btw...I didn't add this earlier...The car misses at idle to and while driving at a constant RPM...Could this be cause by a faulty coil?

check to make sure that your tps and map sensor plugs are not reversed. the tps and map sensor connections are identical and will allow the car to drive and idle until the car gets really messed up signals. this will not throw a check engine light either.

what about your idler screw..?

air filter condition

also do a physical, and ignition timing check... maybe you jumped a tooth.. maybe not..

spark plug condition.., and gap
dizzy rotor and cap..., is there buildup on the cap posts
pcv valve clogged
egr valve stuck open (probably not)

seafoam it... (if your unfirmiliar with seafoam... google it) then take it out on the freeway or something and drive the **** out of it

use premium gas.

sometimes I go to the local airport and buy 5 gallons of Avgas.. then fill the rest up with premium...... whooooooooh nellly..... that avgas is somthin special.. it makes my windows roll up better...lol

any aftermarket boltons...recently..?

basially check and adjust timing, and idle...., by the numbers..

The one item I would add to the above check of all sensors and both physical and ignition timing, would be to check out the O2 sensor. You don't say what year accord you have, but my guess is the 93 H22A will not plug into any code reader, you need to plug in the test connectors, and read the code from the flashes as described many places on here.

Ok, I might have found the problem. When I went to go over my timing i looked at my dizzy cap and and the no. 4 cyl post on the dizzy cap has about a 2 1/2 inch crack going across it at the bottom which i can move the post by hand. I think this is my problem. I'm going to pick up a cap and a rotor today and see how that does. Ben Deez im going to try everything you said as well. Snobordboi...What do you mean by test connectors? I don't have a CEL popping up...Weird. I think somebody might have taped over it on the dash to make it look like there were no CEL's...My accord is a 94. Sorry about that. But thanks for the responses guys. IT is very much appreciated!

if you ever wanted to know if your cel is working or not..., just get a led, or small dash bulb run one side to ground, and the other to A13 on your ecu...its a green/orange wire... that is your mil code wire..., or cel wire...

what happens when you turn your key two clicks..., does your cel come on, then go off... if not.., things need to be done
