thee reason why I need 1 is to verify if mines bad..I got a ceL #3 map sensor.. Cars smoking white and smells like fuel?
A local shop R&D said its pry not a head gasket pry that sensor?..its reading a #3 cel no engine lights on jus boggs like hell and ya HELP

NO way! I thought MAP sensors cost around $400 - I went to the NAPA store in my shcool, and thats what they said. They said with our discount - we can get it for $207............

I'd tell napa to lick my nutsac if they told me that. Personally I wouldn't even buy a can of spray paint from Napa. Maybe $300 of that quote was going staight into Michael Waltrips wallet or something but that's highway robbery!
Let me know if it fixes your problem. I've had a code 3 intermittently the past year. Have changed the sensor and still get it. It's obviously something else for me but not sure what, tried everything. Seems to only happen after about 45 mins of driving. And yes a new one is that expensive if you have the type that mount on the firewall anyways.
