Default H22 Problem

I'm having technical difficulties with the Lude tonight. It ran fine all day and then all of a sudden problem arise. I started my car and put it into drive, it kind of jerked foward when I pushed the gas, but I figured maybe it was driver fault, not car. Everytime I pushed the gas the rpm would shoot up (a lot more than normal) and the car would jerk foward. Also, when I was stopped it kept revving. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong? It's a 5th Gen Auto Lude. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Is your OEM front in good condition? Is it painted?

Fluids are all good. Haven't had the chance to check anything else yet, but will later.

also check your throttle cable. it made my car stick at high rpms and was all wack.. also if you mess with any part of the Tb it should trigger the CEL

The code that came up had to do with the Idle Control Valve. Does anyone know anything about this? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

The ICV sensor may possibly be messed up...Reset your ECU and see if the code comes up again before worrying...Take your negative battery wire off for a little while, then connect back and see if it comes up again....

I had a similiar thing happen but w/my 5spd SH (1997) it kept throwing lights; ATTS and Malf. IND.

I reset my clock/radio fuse and it would run fine, it turned out to be a vacuum leak..The dealership found it when performing the ignition recall, since then it has been fine.

Okay the local Honda dealership found that the Idle Air Control Valve needs to be replaced. How serious (or not) of a problem is this? Anyone else have a problem with this on their 5th Gen Lude?
