Default h22/h23 rods?

im doing a h23 converstion. i just wanted to know if the h22 rods are forged or cast?

u know u have to use h23 bottom end right not the h22 block and h23 head... ahah lol

H22a rods are forged.....the newer ones anyway

ya i have the h23 bottom end, i just bought a vtec head for it though and i just want to make the lower end more stable so it doesnt come apart on me.

would you know from what years?

and also if i just change the crank to forged what should i set my rev limit on my MSD ignition so i dont bend the rods?
