H22 Engine Overhaul Kit
I wanted to know where I could find a good engine ovehaul kit. I'm looking for a kit that has practicaly everything in it. Like main bearings, rod bearings, all gaskets, oil pump, rings, etc. Tried to do a search but it says the search server is down.
you can buy the whole gasket set from inlinefour
and then you can buy pistons and rings from them
i dont know if they have main bearings or not but they might be able to order them for you just make sure your getting the right size

inlinefour? I have never heard of them? do they make quality parts?
I would suggest going to a HONDA dealer myself. Then you know you are getting quality parts!
It doesn't sound like you are upgrading or changing any of the internals are you? Just a basic rebuild?

I am replacing the block because of scratches on the #3,#4 cylinders. I am using Type S pistons in the block. The head was done by GUDE, a few months ago. Just want to replace every gasket, bearing and seal when I rebuild the motor. I don't want to short cut anything.

why no sleeve it? use an H23 crank?

I have a H23 crank, and I was thinking about it, but I changed my mind. Resleeving is out of the budget at this point. I am getting the clip, just to get the manual transmission, and other parts that I need to do the auto to manual conversion. The clip has the M2B4 tranny. Looking to get a lightened flywheel and clutch. The guy said he thinks the clip has a performance clutch in it, so I'll wait until I crack into it before I get a clutch.

I've been told that the H22A1 gaskets and seals fit the JDM H22A but is different for the H22A4 engine... I know that H22A1 and A4 are the USDM engines.. plus, the engine I'm planning to rebuild came out of an 1998 Prelude, which to my knowledge is JDM H22A..
I want to rebuild that engine and throw it into the Accord.. will it have any effect on the performance ...
Sorry if my questions **** you off ...
The biggest (and maybe only, I'm not sure) difference in gaskets is the head gasket- which is a matter of open vs. closed deck blocks. I can't think of anything else that would be different aside from the oil pan gasket (steel vs aluminum pans).
