Default Got a problem ? what do u think? (Calling all JRSC Preludes) help

i got a 2000 prelude sh with JRSC, the thing is that when i hit max boost there is a niose that come from the Engine BAY . Frist i thought it was the belt , then one of my friend thought it was pinnging. than i took another friend for a ride, and this time i made it ping by ******* with the timing. So i know its not the timing. but another friend thing its the belt hiting the brake lines, when the engine is torquing.

2? is what kind of plugs are u guys running with JRSC ???

thanx

Are you trying to blow the engine???? A ping is a ping a belt squeeks or squeals. Stop playing around and take it to a shop.

stop playing around, lol

Anyways, I would take racerx's advise and take it to a shop to get checked out, or even better, have the person who installed it take a look at it and describe the problem your having with your car to the mechanic. Unless of course you installed it then take it to a reputable shop so they can have a look at it.

with the supercharger there is a pully that run by the steel brake lines that are cover with rumber. well when there is a load on the engine, the engine tourqe back and the pully his hiting the lines and stut tower. I can tell because its is leaving marks. That is what i think is happen (i think), & making the noise ( i hope)

The strut tower or the tower strut bar? How much is the engine moving? I'd zip tie the lines out of the way for starters. Take a look at your engine mounts as well.

i would get some upgraded motor mounts if i were you. the stock ones are designed for stock HP and TQ. you just added another 40% with the JRSC. that sounds like a very good possibility of the problem. i wouldnt drive it much at all until you get the new mounts in. HASPORT has a good name in mounts. pricey, but a good name. not sure if they make them for the lude but it cant hurt to try. maybe just get the inserts.
