Default Gasket set

Hey, I am rebuilding my prelude engine with all aftermarket parts, and I want to replace all the seals and belts. Do any of you guys know any places that sell a complete gasket set for a reasonable price? And also do any of you guys know where I can find a thin headgasket for higher compression? Oh, and one more thing can anyone post a link for the automatic to manual tensioner conversion thanks

Personally I wouldn't go with a thinner head gasket. That would be the last thing I would go for to get higher compression. Just have the head shaved a slight amount if u aren't satisified with ur after market parts... but thats just me maybe some other guys have different opinions..

Well, I don't think there are any places locally that can mill the head, and I do not understand why buying a thin headgasket would be such a bad idea? You think it might not seal properly or break, I forgot to mention this is on a NA motor. I have the 11.0:1 type-s pistons and I was hoping to squeeze out a tiny bit higher numbers through a thinner head gasket

Yeah, i would also like to know why getting a thinner headgasket wouldnt be a good idea. Is it something about durability? Longevity?

i'm not an expert or anything but it seems if you have a thinner you are more likely to have it blown it a shorter amount of time. Where do u live? Any machine shop will mill...

Thanks everyone, I hope the block gasket set will come with most of the stuff I need, I already have a couple gaskets here and there, and the expensive full gasket set would come with a headgasket that I wouldnt use, and I will probably get one of those insulated intake manifold gaskets, see if they work
