Default Function Form Not Low Enough

So i installed FF type 1s on my car. The rears arent even maxed but its already tucking tire and the fronts are maxed and it just filled the gap from tire to fender. There are 3 collars on the coil, 2 on top for the pre load, and 1 at the bottom to adjust the ride height. I spun the strut around to adjust the ride height but it stops about 1 1/2 inch away from the other 2 preload collars. Ive installed other coils before and usually it doesnt stop until its at least 1/4 inch away from the preload collars. Is there something wrong? Or do function forms suck this much? Ill be taking pictures and posting them up as soon as I can, most likely tomorrow. Oh and the coils are settled in theyve been on since February

What's with you people and wanting to tuck your tires? Do you feel that you get better performance? All you get out of tucking is changing tires ever 2-3 months, bottoming out the car on bumps and potholes, and dodging potholes or bumps that can impede traffic or cause accidents. Why do something so stupid that can possibly injure innocent people around you? I hate when people post **** that bashes companies when they don't even properly use the product!

I have F&F Type 2's (with custom rates of 14k in front and 10k in rear) and stand 100% behind they're products. Just to see how low they can go for ***** and giggles, I have tucked my 16" Blitz 01's when I first installed them. But since I think it's pointless and stupid beyond the performance, I immediately raised the car back up. I have a 3 finger gap in rear and 2 finger gap in front.

Well the lude is my daily i dont autox or drag or anything with it i just want it to look nice, my definition of looking nice might be different than yours, but basically i just want the front to tuck a little bit of tire and im going to raise the back up, its just tucking because once it settled it dropped another inch. To be honest I heard good things about FF so i decided to get them but its just not low enough for me

Dunno what why yours won't go low, but mine slammed. Sure you didn't mess with the coil or spring rates?

I had some D2 coilovers (same cheapo stuff as F&F) and they were the same way. Rear would go as low as you want and the front wouldn't go all the way. The person who bought them from me was able to slam his Prelude by pre-loading the front spring to compress it and lower the ride height.

You can't say they 'suck' because you want to slam your car, which is not what they are designed to do.

Yup, you're going to have to lower the collars for the spring rate. Even go as far as removing the middle collar all together, if you want it slammed. Did the same thing - looks great, rides horribly. Was cool for 2 weeks, but got tired of it. Raised the car back up.
