Fuel Issues? Help please.
To put everything I have done and what is going on with the car shortly... My 93 Prelude has been swapped with H22A4, No I did not do it because I got a great deal on the car.
But the problem is it is running extremely rich (black carbon like deposit on back license plate/ bumper, can smell the unburnt fuel, and am getting 19mpg at the moment).
In my efforts to fix this I have cleaned IACV, FITV, Throttle body, EGR Valve, Flushed EGR with seafoam, New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and Fuel Filter. I think that about covers it. All i have not checked or fixed is possibly the Chrome tune that came with the car (I think a home tune not by a shop?) Using the P72 I believe? And have not tested or replaced fuel pressure regulator or injectors themselves.
When driving the car it seems to work fine under WOT or off the gas completely but if I am trieing to maintain speed limits it makes it realy hard to do that because its jerks and shutters. Not a comfortable ride at all, I am at a loss with out paying to get another tune and going from there.

I would look for sure at the tune because that is going to make your AFR. Also you might want to look at your O2 sensor to make sure its not completely dirty so you wont get any wrong measurements through it.
So you think it is the AFR? Thats about all I can think of it being too. What do you mean check it? Pull it out and clean it? I am not getting a CEL but i guess it couldn't hurt.
well you have the very obvious signs that its AFR by the black deposits left on ur license plate, plus the smell and low gas mileage. When looking at the o2 sensor if its completely blackened you can use a lint free cloth to get it off. If it seems to be still extremely dirty you might just want to get a new o2 sensor right before you get retuned.
