front turn signal doesn't work sometimes
Hi, my 99 Honda Prelude SH has a front turn signal that stops working every now and then.
The Advance auto parts store man said he can't put a new bulb in because he could not get easy access to it, and noticed water in the lens.
What could it be? Do I need a new bulb?
Is it easy to install the bulbs? How do you do it?
Could it be the water or the wires? What do I do?

The most probable cause of water in the light is a bad or loose gasket (#3 in the link). Chances are that it's old enough to have worn out and not making a good seal anymore. Inspect and replace as necessary.
The most probable cause of the intermittent light is corrosion of the electrical connections in the connector or bulb socket. Probably due to water getting because of the worn/loose gasket. Inspect and replace as necessary.
Your going to have to remove the battery to work on the one headlight and work around the accessories (PS pump, etc) on the other one.
Here's the blown up parts list for the headlight: Honda Automotive Parts

Re: front turn signal doesn't work sometimes
thanks lazlong, but it's not the headlamp. It's the turn signal underneath.
Is there also a gasket? If so, are they bought easily or is it a dealer item?

Turn signal bulb replacement instructions are part of the owner's manual. You just need a long screwdriver.
There is a bulb socket gasket; but, if water is getting in the lenses, there may be a crack in the lenses housing. Take out the lenses and examine it.
