Default fix, replace, or leave it alone

Removed my oil pan and notice the oil pickup in dented. Should I fix it (some how?) replace it, or just leave it alone? Thanks.

Yeah, replace it . That is an important part.

If you need one, I have one available.

also your lucky that it isnt giving u an oil pressure light and throwing your car in limp mode, i was in limp mode and saw a small dent in my oil pan, dent happened to be right under the pick up and was causing the low oil pressure, luckily it never dipped below 40-45 psi which is enough to prevent motor damage...

It's not TOO bad off.....

Just pry the dimpled part back out w/ a flat-head screwdriver. It's not a precision part; it's just a tube for sucking oil; as long as it's open enough to flow enough oil, and it's submerged in oil, it will act fine.

But if you must, I have one or two spares sitting around I'll sell ya cheap.
