Default Finally finished my E85 set up...

After countless number of bugs...

16psi

Set Up-
Stock H22 Head, Ignition, Cams, IM
GE Sleeved block- Endyn Roller Waves, Full Race/Manley rods
PT61
1600cc
3" DP
s300

Turned it up to 20psi, but the CC Stage 5 started to slip around 420tq. Time to save up for a twin disc; hope to squeeze a little more power out of it

No change in fuel lines? I'm guessing you'll just change them all out every so often? E85 tends to eat them up.

why would he replace the lines? where are you getting this idea? 99% of all late model cars can run e85 just fine. its actually better in most cases cause it keeps the lines and everything cleaner.

but to the OP how was your injector DC on the 1600cc? im lookin to run e85 this spring and i have a set 0f 880cc right now. i want to run 350 with no problems and i would like to dip 400 on occasion. you think that will be fine?

If you were on pump gas you could pull it off with 880's, but I would suggest you go with 1000's or 1600's with an injector driver

If you don't mind sharing, how did you plumb in the inline fuel pump?

I've thought about converting to E85, but without any additional compression, I'm not sure the cost & effort is worth it. Plus, I'd have to carry 20 gallons of fuel to every track event since E85 isn't widely available.

assuming your talking to me. how close do you think ill be ? i can get a pretty good deal on these 880s and i was really hoping to use them but ive also been skeptical that they wouldnt be enough. i maxed out my 450s last year and that was a very depressing 8 hour trip to the dyno. i just wanna be prepared

just go with the 1000's and you won't need to be worried about it
