Fan switch problem
Hey guys, I couldn't find a thread about the fan not working properly so I thought I would just post and ask. My '99 prelude's a/c & fan switches only works on the high level. Is this a situation where i can just replace the top fan controls or is it somethings else to get all fan levels to work? Please help!
you could wire it so that it works everytime ou turn your car on. just by wireing the black to a ground and the blue wire to your fuse or to yur positive on your battery or just connect it to a on off switch
The fan and a/c works and blows cold air, but for some reason I can only have it on when its on the high level. The low, and two medium switches dont work...no air blows until the last level.
I dont want to wire it so the a/c runs none-stop, I want it running like normal. I think I the lower level fan levels are broke. Would I swap out a new control component? Fuse problem?

If you are talking about the **** only then, yes theres differently something wrong with it. The **** is just a potentiometer that has divided resistance that allow certain amperage to run across. This Fan is not the coolant AC fan, it is the air blower fan for both AC and Heat. the Fan works, so U can take that off as a possible defect. It must be the **** thats bad.
