Ah man ( 1700anddropping) that's totally what I want to do ( minus nos) but, I would want it for my daily . ppeople still going " no no a deck plate won't last , it's not streetable"... I figure technology should be better than 3 years ago so I may being trying this when I get back from Japan in 2007.
Please keep us up to date on progress and, wear and tear on the plate

I'm new to the board, and this thread is awesome!! I am working with a 96 Accord F22. It is my younger brothers car and we planned on the H22 swap. Make a long story short we bought the engine/trans/ecu and had to send it back today because it was damaged. I read the thread once then skimed over it. Okay F22 lower end H22 head, H23 headgasket, H22 water pump gear. Did I miss something? What about wiring did I miss something? We are going to do this with a little twist. Going higher compression 10.5 - 11.5 and bore it to 86mm. Do we need the intake from the H22?

Thanks,

Allan

use the f23 head gasket not the h23. you need head plugs too like pictured on the page before.

also try gettting some rsx pistons that will get you pretty good compression, and you will only have to bore the f22 out to 86mm. either that get some shelf forged
pistons at 85mm.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by hybridpatient95 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">geeez sb tuning... resize your pictures...

on an F block im assuming your asking? I used it but it deosn't line up right. 2 out of the 3 orginal holes line up , and then i dremeled the additional 4th hole to fit. I also sits at a different angle now because the h22 mount holes are different than the f22. but the rubber mount that the motor bolts into takes up this different angle.. but your better off using the f22 mount.

What is a 'timing belt mount'?
