Default f22B vtec

hey, i just have a quick question. i've searched already but nothing came up. well i have a f22B on my 4th gen lude right now and im just wondering if there any way of putting vtec on the engine. if there is, is it worth it? thanks

ummmm you had a motor swap? or did you mean you have a f22a1, one of the only ways to make your f22a1 have vtec is to swap a vtec f22b head with your current head, its one of the eastest ways, but there are a couple of things you need to get first, like the oil lines, slenonds, things like that, just search and you shall find out!

you said you have an f22b? that engine is vtec. i guess i don't understand your question..

ya i bought the car with it and the previous owner said it's swapped. it's DOHC, not the SOHC vtec accords have, it looks very similar to h23 and it says F22B. thanks

ohhh...I think I know what he is saying, he has the jdm f22b DOHC non-vtec and he wants it make it vtec? right? well then, it makes it MUCH more easier to understand, just swap the h22a head and replaced a bunch of stuff with h22 parts. or just search for: h23 vtec in the search form

Be easier to swap for an H22. You can get a lot more for an F22B then an H23
