f22b problems
Ok what's up HT, my friend has a jdm f22b in an 92 Accord sedan, the car came to me with a surging problem. That was a vacum leak, I fix that, it needed one of the vacum hoses pluged. Ok then he sugested to clean the carbon off the rotor cap, so he cleaned it off. I don't know what he used to clean it but the car ran fin after that.
Ok the valves were realy taping loud so I told him that I would ajust his valves for him, he said ok. I adjusted the intake to .004 on the intake an .006 on the exaust. Those specs came from an 2.3 93 prelude because I couldn't get the specs on that f22b motor. That **** was way to tight, it started poping when I reved it from idell all the way through the rpms.
So I ajusted them back to .007 intake and .008 on the exaust.
I don't know when the check engine light came on but it was on after he did that.
Know the car won't rev past 4grand. The code is 4 which I was told was the Crankshaft Position Sensor. That's basicaly it. Please give educated advice thanks.
