Default f20b???

ive researched tons of things on here and i find myself finding so much clashing info about this swap so any input would be greatly appreciated thank you for your time i have a question about the upper motor mount on drivers side im swapping an f20b into a prelude sh that used to have the f22a1 in it. the f20 only came with the mount bracket not the mount itself. people say i should use the h22 motor mount on it is that accurate??? and also about wiring can i use my f22 harness and use a rywire sub vtech harness with a chipped p28 running a f20b base map?? and one more thing im not clear on is the dizzy people say i have to use the h22 dizzy why cant i just use the oem f20b dizzy with a rywire adapter from obd2 to obd1???

To put it simply, the F20B is just a smaller displacement H22A, it's an OBD2 engine but since it's JDM the crank sensor will be in the distributor like a USDM OBD1 engine.

I think the f22a mount and bracket will swap right over.
You can reuse your f22 engine harness but you may have to extend a few wires and add wires and you will need to get obd1 injectors or change the plugs on the harness to fit the f20b obd2 injectors and delete the resistor box by twisting all the wires going to it together. Idk about the ecu I would say have a obd1 ecu chipped for it. You will need to do something with the map sensor, The map sensor is in a black box on the firewall if I am not mistaken on your car so you will need to run a vaccum line to it by adding a nipple to where the map sensor bolts on the obd2 tb or just wire up the map sensor that comes on the obd2 tb. You can use a h22 obd1 dizzy and it will plug in to your harness.

I say convert the engine to obd1, search, it's not like you're being a pioneer with this swap, it's been done plenty of times and first hand info is all over this board.

I do not know for sure but I would think that the H22 mount would be the one to use.

Just buy an H22 mount, pretty simple since like I said the F20B is pretty much a 2L H22, almost everything from an H22 works on an F20B.

You should be able to swap the whole mount and the bracket that bolts to your block if they are different, I know f22 and h22 ones are the same.
