Default External coil conversion

The car is a EF with a obd1 h22a. I drove the car around for a while around a year ago with no problems and tore it back down to do a build. While the car was tore down my dizzy got stolen. I have been getting it all back together and just noticed this yesterday when grabbing parts from my dads place. Well when I first started gathering parts for the swap a while back, I bought a new dizzy but didnt pay any attention when I ordered it that it was external coil. So my question is what is needed to run external coil. I have a coil from a f22 donor motor with the 3 wire plug.

K after going out and looking at my harness, I think that I might have figured it out but not sure. BLK/YEL from harness goes to BLK/YEL on the coil, YEL from coil goes to YEL on the dizzy, the GRN from the dizzy goes to GRN on the coil, and the BLU wire is untouched. Yes, no, not even close?

Well I figured it out yesterday. This is how it goes incase anybody needs to know in the future.

Take the blk/yel from the harness (going to dizzy) and connect it to the Yel on the coil.
Take the blk/yel from the coil, and connect it to the blk/yel going to the dizzy.
Take the grn from the dizzy and hook it to the grn on the coil
The blue wire is left untouched.
