custom = custom = custom = no brand.

Muffler = pick something with a good price, sound, and look. I went with an OBX oval w/ dual 3" outs. Here's my rear.

I'm not really a big fan of the N1 or gt spec. I like the stock look like the vibrant, magnaflow, and the apexi ws2.

Anybody rolling with the apexi ws2 3inch?

Does anyone actually make power with a 3inch exhaust on an N/A setup?

i had the n1 and it was way loud
just got a custom put together and it sounds amazing. it still uses a lot of the apexi piping but has a magnaflow resonator and muffler
all 2.5 except for the gay dc header(soon to be fixed)
i can get a sound clip if its necessary

Is there a header out there though that's made to be run with a 3" exhaust? I was thinking about eventually redoing the exhaust since i have a cheap one but it sounds great with no problems at all and straight too. I know of a good shop that could prob build me a 3" for a lil over $100 provided I get the muffler and resonator.

$100 to get your entire exhaust welded up? Good luck with that. Mine cost $400 for 2.5" piping & labor. I supplied all other components.

I'm thinking of buying this to match my hytech replica header with 2.5 piping. It has Titanium tip muffler, also a hi-flow cat, plus I can use 10% off ebay coupon

Pretty sure that St. Patrick's Day 10% coupon is expired... Considering it was yesterday...
((Unless you have something else..?)

I'd grab it up. But keep in mind that looks like a test pipe, not a high-flow cat.

Thermal R&D Stealth Cat-Back Exhaust System - they make 2.5" and the quality is better than the rest. I have had mine for 9 years. Good thick stainless.

Yep. With custom 2.5" (crush-bent) and an 18" chambered resonator(brand unknown) it sounds very nice, and fairly quiet. We'll see how it sounds with SS 3" when my turbo build is done.

Pipe only, all mandrel bends, 4th and 5th gen kits. I got the 3" SS for my current build. Nice bends.
