I've got the n1 as well and i love it. It is deep and a little loud but it's very bearable. I've never heard the tanabe or the ws.

for a 4th gen fitment is real good, the piping does hang a little low due to the angle of the muffler. Not that low though cause my friend had a slammed prelude and his muffler and piping only scraped when he went over like a huge speed bump or something of that nature. not to mention it sounds real sick

The N-1 makes awsome power gains plus has an aggressive look and IF YOU DO NOT gut the cat will give a deep powerful tone.
I used to work at a Performance shop and everyone liked the N-1 even people who liked quiet exhaust. Apexi ws and tanabe hyper are way quiet exhuast and give minimal power gains in my opinion.

looks good would you happen to have a pic from the passenger side for better shot of it... nice though alot better looking than i thought. By the way is there a fairly decent gain with the n1 cuz i really want more top end and was thinkin bout a megan racing header with this cat back on it.

n1= loud as ****.

you want a greddy EVO2 or a thermal. I've got an HKS which is the best exhaust note i've heard (deep and pretty quiet) but they tend to be kind of rare and overpriced.

i think the EVO 2 is probably the best exhaust short of custom, imho.

Exactly what I was going to say.

The N1 sounds like the typical farty sounding exhaust.

I have a Thermal Classic and I LOVE it.

does an evo 2 make as good of gains as the N1 because i've heard an evo 2 on an si and it sounds beautiful. nice and deep.

I've heard the tanabe HM and the Apexi WS first hand so I'll let you know how I feel about them.
The apexi WS sounds almost stock noise wise, just a tad louder.

The Tanabe HM has a very nice tone tone to it and isn't that loud, well it's a subdued kinda loud when you stop on it. but fairly quiet when cruiseing

The differences between the two design wise is the fact that the Apexi WS is chambered and the Tanabe is sraight through.

thermal can kiss my ***, to many people praise this exhaust ive heard it on one lude didnt like it all, but then again its personal opinion. But id take a qoute on qoute "farty" Apex N1 any day, my friend with an RSX and Prelude have it and it sounds awesome not to mention good gains for both cars.

N-1 is only loud if you gut the cat like i said in my previous post. N-1 and evo are both loud exhuast with gutted cat I have had both on my civic with h22. Evo is raspier than n-1. n-1 is raspy but a lil more throty and balsy than evo.

All the exhaust Im talking about is cat back systems not muffler shop weld on bullshit.

Evo or N-1 is a good choice, I like them both equally. Its really up to you with your perssonal taste. Good luck with your choice.
