Ok, like the topic says.. error code 4.
Rebuilt the motor, put everything back together... ran it for the break in, and then 300 or so more. On my way to work about 2 or so weeks ago and the car just shut down. I tried to start it, and it would start with no throttle and idle, but it was rough as crap and you couldn't really rev at all. If i started it with the throttle open, the car would rev around 3 or whatever fine for about 2 or 3 seconds and then just shut off.
Took it to the dealership, and they followed the whole flow chart, and said it was the ECU, no doubt about it. They said the same thing I found about the crank position sensor, but they also said the Throttle position sensor wasn't getting a "pulse" either. I replaced the ECU and immob units with those that were in my brother's car, and had a key programmed to his ECU and cut to my ignition.
My dad and brother swapped them while I was at work and tried again. It started and ran fine they said for like 10 or 15 seconds and then started the crap idle again (my guess is the failsafe mode..), and error 4 popped up again just like the other ECU had.
Has anyone had the CKP go bad before? They are just two magnetic pickups correct? Any other ideas what the heck might be causing this? The dealership here is about useless and really doesnt' want to work on my car after they broke my brothers... and I don't really want to tow it 26 miles to Blair Honda in Altoona, PA. Thanks!

Check for continuity through all your connections and wires. I got a CEL 4 before after my rebuilt but it ended up being the wrong t-belt spocket that we used.

alright, i'll let the dealership know this may be something to look into. Like I said they dont' seem to know too much about this car (actually they admitted they pretty much know crap about the ludes). It's just odd it worked for the 1300 before it took a crap.
