Engine is shruttering...
Ok, I own a 1994 Honda Prelude Si with about 109,000 miles on it. I'm pretty sure the timing belt has been changed but I'm not sure. Anyways, when the car is in idle, it sometimes slowly drops below 1000 RPM and starts shaking and vibrating badly and when I press the accelerator really quick it SHRUTTERS at first. Sometimes when I start the car it idles high to around 1500 RPM and this doesn't happen but usually drops down to 1000 RPM after 5 minutes of driving. What do i do and how do i fix this?
P.S. When I try to start my car after itz been sitting for a while, I turn it to ignition and nothing happens when I try to start my car sometimes. All my lights and stuff turn on when I try to start the car but my car just doesn't start, like dead silence. Could it be my starter kill? It works after i turn it back on and off about 2 times when this happens.
I know I posted a rather long thingy but I appreciate any comments or opinions.

check all your motor mounts a couple times over, make sure none are broken. Next, have you ever changed your plugs/wires? if not, get some NGK's, and go with the factory heat range. Next, change the wires, Go with NGK's also, or if you want, get a set of rice wires. while your at it, replace your cap (10$) and your rotar (3$) this can all effect this shuddering. Also make sure your timing is set right (i'm sure it is) Next, open your trunk up, and get someone to sit back there, turn the key to "on" position, and tell them to listen for a high pitched, 5 second long squeeling sound. It will last for the duration your "Check engine light" is when you first go to start. If it doesn't make this sound, and won't start, then your fuel pump relay is bad (known to go bad on honda's) or there is a loose ground, check the one on the head, and the one on the tranny, and the other few small ones. This should get you going for now.
In addition, high idle is totally normal until the engine warms up.
As for the no starting, you might have corroded contacts on your starter motor (no electrical connection is made until you've turned the key enough to heat up the wires/contacts, then the thing starts turning over).

yeah...i've already replaced the wires and spark plugs a while ago as well as the distributor cap and motor...i've also noticed my battery wires are REALLY corroded but i dunno if that could be the problem since it only happens when i haven't started the car for a while.
this could be the problem. when i daily drove my car a bucnh w/ croaded batt. terminals, it was fine. but once i let the car sit a day or two without moving, it wouldn't start! get some terminal protectors, i never bought any, i just used the spray for awhile, and that stuff sucked. my friend gave me a set of the protectors, and they work awsome.
i had a very close sam problem. My rear motor mount was cracked in like two places. Also i have had the presure plate break and half stuck to the flywheel. That made it shake really bad also i would check most of your hoses that conect to the intake mainafold make sure they are conected and also check the hose to the vlaper valve..
Ps. if any one doesn't know if you take off the hose that goes to the vlaper valve you can drop 1/10 too 2/10 of a sec off you time and gain close to 2-3 mph but burn more gas.

look on top of trany you will see two wires i bealive there are pretty small look right above the hole where you check your timing if you are looking at the motor with the trany to your left look at the trany and it will be right about where the head meets the block.
