Engine Shaking
OK, so recently I replaced my crank pulley with an OEM brand new of the dealership pulley, also replaced the keyway because my pulley when idling it was shaking a little. After the pulley is replaced the wobble is not as bad; today I drove my car for the first time since, and when I get back from school the shaking is worse, and actually the car turned off by itself after I parked it. The entire engine seems to be shaking bad. Any suggestions, or any good h22's for sale?
might wanna recheck your timming cause the belt may have jumped a tooth or 2. Take your valve cover off, set your cam at TDC and see if they both align together. Also recheck the torque on your crank pulley
is the notch in the crankshaft/lower timing gears for the key messed up from it wobbling? Also is the pulley still wobbling? What is your idle rpm? does it go away when the rpm goes up?
It turns off when it tries to idle, and yes when I rev it it stops wobbling. It is torqued, andI don't see a reason for the timing to be off, I only drive the car like once a month, if so.
