engine management
i have an 01 prelude base and i have an injen race division cold air intake and im gettting some megan headers. i was wondering if i needed any engine management to go along with my headers or can it wait?
That's up to you really with what you want to do with your car. It wouldn't hurt, but the gains aren't as much when you have only 2 bolt-ons. Plus which engine management do you want to get?
well first off its VTEC not vtech. The cars ability to switch from a lower cam lobe to a higher and vise versa has nothing to do with the phone company. You got a picture of the sticker in your avatar, how did you botch that ? You arent going to need any sort of engine management unless you were to buy a real header and do some internal work.

Yea i support the ownage
anyway, whatever management you run with (Hondata, AEM EMS, Uberdata, VAFC), make sure to get it professionally dynotuned. you're not doing much (if any) harm running minor mods with no fuel tuning, but its not a bad idea to buy it now and tune it every time you do some more modding. good luck

lol im the dumb one with 100% ?? hey i didnt buy the megan header and ask if i had to tune. That header doesnt look much different from a DC.
If you want you could buy hondata and OBD-1 computer but until you really get a good header or do cam/headwork its pointless. Dont even bother with a VAFC. Make sure you got someone local who can do a good job tuning the hondata if that is infact the route you choose.
