I recently took my car (93 prelude SI, auto,US H23) in to a shop, my car is making this clicking noise when on and when accelerated the clicking ticks faster, So I took it to a shop the guy said he needs to do a Valve adjustment, when I picked up my car the ticking was still there I asked the guy why the noise was still there he said it was completly normal and there's nothing you could do about engine noise. So my question is... is this true or was he BSing me?? and what can I do to fix the problem?? Thank you

PS I noticed my car is alot slower than before the and the accelaration responce is weird, I wish there was a shop with a dyno here in fresno so I can see how much HP I'm currently running to see if I really lost power or it's just me.

Take it to someone who knows how to set the lash.
