Default emissions help please

i live in CT i just got my letter for the test due date. i have a 96 lude so i know that they scan the obd2 port for any malfunctioning emission parts. i am pretty sure i will pass the sniffer. i have stock exhuast for now with a cat. the thing that i am worried about is the obd2 scanning. I put in a skunk2 manifold it was very lean ( dont gimme no crap about the skunk2 on a stock motor please) so my friend tuned a p72 ecu and installed it the car is decent right now. if i just put the stock ecu back in will life be peachy? on the stock ecu i had a code for idle speed controll. Is there anything i should know/do?
if any info is needed just ask
thank you-jeff

Im no t trying to high jack ur thread but i have a simular question about emissions ive been wanting to bring up but wasnt sure if HT already went over this; plus this gives u a bump so =P...

But my question is y is it that if ur car passes the emission too good that they need to check for "illegal" parts or in other words aftermarket ****? I mean if ur car is running better than the min standard isnt that better for the environment, which is what the emission bullshit is all about? Cuz i just had mine done and i passed with i/h/e NGK plugs/wires, pullies and probly some other basic crap im forgetting. THe guy told me i passed passed and said if it was any better they would have to check for ****. I mean wtf is that all about they should be happy that a 11 yr old car is passing the test that ******* good. So any real answer other than they dont want me having a million HP under the hood driving around?

probably because if you had a fuel controller, you can turn the fuel down and pass the test with ease. *shrug* that's what i would do. lol.
