Hello to everyone!
I currently own a 95 Honda prelude. Recently bought from my brother. There has been a decent amount of repairs over time. Everything listed has been done over passed year or two: new battery and cables, starter, fuel pump, all fuses checked/change if needed, spark plugs, alternator was tested and fine.
A couple days ago car wouldn't start, did some research and found out it was the ignition switch. I bought a new one, as I was taking off the old one my screw driver arced a couple wires.... :/ yes my dumbass forgot to disconnect the battery...
Well i disconnected the battery and installed the new ignition switch.
Now my car won't even turn over. I know the last problem was fixed because of the way the car started. The arc i created in the ignition switch(old one) did some damage. I changed the fuses that blew.
Now when I turn the key the dome light, radio, headlights, and locks have power. Doesn't sound like fuel pump kicks on (I can hear mine usually). When I try to start the car it wants to start but won't turn over. Also my entire dashboard isn't working anymore (no lights), my windows and sunroof aren't working either.
From what I've looked into I know it could be multiple different problems. But from my own list of things to scratch off I think im down to a few left.
I think I may have fried my ecu, or I might need a new main relay, or ive melted/damaged something. If anyone has any ideas I could definitely use some help! I have called around for info and everyone wants to see the car (which I do understand). But its Christmas and im broke as hell now and I need this fixed asap!

I've been successful in the past sourcing electrical issues in my preludes. I'll take a closer look tonight and offer u my help. Just so u know someone will reply. Haha

 

Thank you very much! Electrical problems I feel are always some of the hardest especially when you don't have the correct tools to find the problem.
