quick question a guy i know has a cel on egr valve (code 14 i believe) the car is a 92 with a 01 h22a4 swap in it he bought it that way. any idea why its throwing that code.

im a civic guy never got into preludes dont know a whole lot about them and swaping motors in ludes.

also it has a p13 obd1 ecu in it which im pretty sure thats worng should be a p5m ecu i believe.

 

If it is insufficient flow, then there is a DIY on EGR cleaning here. I'm about to perform that myself. It's not a big deal. Takes about an hour from what I've read.

 

p13 is the right ecu for the swap
