Default ECU ?

i have an 01 lude ss with basic bolt on's i.h.e pulleys. i am considering to do the obdII to obdI swap, is this mod worth it? i really appreciate any advise. thanks noob here

I don't see how you are going to do that with the Auto ECU in there... The ECU and the TCM feed each other... so I'm thinking that playing with the OBD II ECU will probably screw up the car's ability to shift in automatic or sportshift modes.

Has anyone else with an Auto tried this??

I don't think you could do an ODBI swap on an SS lude.

nope hes right. the AT control unit is located in the ecm on obd2.

The tranny computer is not located instide the ecu, but you still cannot do an ecu swap. The tranny computer is seperate from the ecu but they are tied by two data wires. The tranny computer will not work without the stock ecu in place.
