Ok, this is my first time even trying this so I have a couple of questions. I have taken out all the spark plugs and disconnected the wires that go to the distributer cap. Then I followed the intructions on the compression tester box and It said to disconnect the high tension lead from the distributer. Do I ground this to something?
Next It says insert compression tester and manually crank the engine over at least 4 cranks. How the hell do I manually crank over the engine?? Do I use the key like normal or is there some other way.???

Alright... I just finished the test on all the cyl. and I came up with 210 all the way across the board.
Isnt that rather Low? I was told they should read near 220-230

When doing a compression test, when do do stop turning the key?
I heard 5 cranks, but i also heard till the psi doesn't move anymore. Which is right?

Yes you need to ground it or you run the risk of frying your coil. It's easier to just pull the ECU fuse to disable the ignition and fuel sustems.
