Default Do not lower the Type SH?

There is a posting in Type R forum https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=556817&page=2 mention it's not a good idea to drop the Type SH (without further explanation)

Any idea? Just curious to know.

:blinks repeatadly:

um, no, lowering an SH does not eliminate the ATTS, that's got to be one of the dumbest things i've read in a while

whoever posted that info doesn't know **** about ATTS. he should stick to his criteria.

it depends what he means by dropped. if you slam an SH, it will put too much stress on the ATTS. after a while it'll burn out the system.

but if your just dropping an SH 1.5 - 2 inches it'll be fine. i'm currently on Tein SS, about 1.75 inches dropped and my ATTS is fine. i hit curves/corners better than stock height. plus an SH that ain't dropped looks like a 4x4
