i have a 97 h22, running previous year distributor from 94, and was wodnering if that is a problem at all that could be causing the above video.

notice, the engine surges from about 1.2-2.2K RPm

Vacuum leak, fast idle valve or idle control valve. Most likely fast-idle valve if you haven't been messing around in there.

 

ahh, vacuum leak it is, a hose is complete broken at the IM

does anyone know how the Skunk2 IM work?



i see the one hose that is completely broken, but the other slot has a fastener thing to keep it closed, but that seems to be broken also (cant see it int he pic)

 

Glad you found the problem. The Skunk2 manifold is not good at all..the Euro R manifold is an outstanding one though.
