problems to expect? too many hot girls after you. nickname is what you like most i would say call it a lude. call it prelube because girls are wet before the heated seats go on. bb8 i beleive is the code for yours, by the way nice choice on the sh. h22a4 with atts is in MY eyes one of the best honda engines/tranny setups all around. my opinion, the b boys will disagree i'm sure (frm sleeves, no support, blah blah blah ) difference: smart lsd with load o torque. first mods, cai, headers, flywheel, clutch, full piping, vafc, don't cheap out save for good ****. welcome to the lude community, you've made a great choice, especially if you're single and horny

You have a bb6. bb8 is euro models I believe. Alot of people dont like the SH cause atts is not compatable with high horsepower applications. If you want power you have to swap to a base tranny. But the SH makes a great autox car. just a mild NA build is all you need. Bolt ons + cams and AFC and you're sitting good.

P.S.- I thought you were talkin about DB8 aston martin at first lol. I came in this thread to give you crap lol. Welcome to the prelud community.

So ATTS limits the amount of horse power that can be put into the h22 ?
Basic Bolt ons and Cams are ATTS acceptable , correct?

what is AFC rings a bell but not sure ..

aston martin what ?! lol i like the lude fam . i just ordered RED ray extended lugs nuts to replace the old 5 lugs :D

Ok ATTS stands for Active torque transfer system. It uses separate clutches to distribute power to each wheel while cornering. These clutches can only handle so much power. 250whp is everyones guess. Anyone please corect me if im giving wrong info. AFC is a Air Flow controller. Its a decent alternative to engine management for OBDII cars.

atts is active torque transfer system. it is a type of smart lsd, and it does limit in some years.

Its not a lsd at all, by any means.

worst case, if atts dies you then have a standard base model transmission

If you have a high mileage prelude, then look into replacing your belt obviously. Autotensioners on the 5th gen are known to prematurely fail.
If you live in an area that experiences lots of rain you most likely will find a puddle of water where the spare is.
I don't know if this is common or not, but the trunk likes to rattle on the freeway/highway.
On some mornings, more commonly on very cold mornings, the brake light will remain on until the fluid heats up.
You can expect to burn up a noticeable amount of oil between oil changes.
