Ok Just did a motor swap 92 prelude H23a to 93 H23a everything is fine runs perfect. But now the D4 light started blinking. I know this is a Transmission error but I dont have any expierience with Prelude Trans. I checked fluid its red and good It shifts fine maybe a little rough but no slipping. How do I check this? Any help welcome. TIA

did you check all the sensor plugs and make sure they're all connected tightly. and are you throwing any CEL?

 

checked all the sensors they are fine. Pulled bat cable off reset computer cleared for a minute took for a test drive seems to start when i hit OD D4 starts blinking. CEL is not on Ill do a check anyway see if it throws me a code. Do 92 preludes have a TCM?

 

Does anyone know how to check D4 TCM codes on a Prelude? My CEL isnt on No codes there. I googled everywhere and only foud Accord TCM info. All help Appreciated!

you have to check the helms. there is a way to decode the d4 light just like you would the cel, but im not exactly sure.
