I have a 93 vtec prelude that's having some problems, so i looked at the ecu to check for trouble codes. shouldn't there be a red blinking light on the ecu telling me the codes!? Me and my friend checked for trouble codes in his old hatch and the red blinking light indicated the code. mine doesn't have this. How do i check for trouble codes!!

 

No, your Prelude just has the check engine light. When you jump it to check the codes, that CEL in the dash will flash instead of the ECU.
