converting auto to manual......
well i work at a dealership that has a subaru, honda, acura, mazda, nissa, volvo, and suzuki but i guess its easy but expensive to get parts up here...
Over here it is hell as expencive to do a conversion from auto to manual, you are looking at $5,000 to do it. That is New Zealand Dollars. Unless you know what you are doing and prepared to do the labour yourself it could be cheaper. I would rather buy one already manual and save myself the time and stress and effort. That's my 2c.

He has a manual from the factory or he converted his from an auto? I wouldn't buy a vehicle that someone converted themselves, but thats just me.

You have alot of work to do if you want it done correctly. https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1
Manuals they allow you to free rev during each gear chance. Autos well they are autos they run on a computer and choose when its the best time to change gear for you. Thats what i know anyway.
I dunno about you, but I see more threads with people having problems with their manual tranny. All tranny's will go bad. The problem with the 5th gen is that there aren't many options when it does. Take it easy on them. Change the ATF religiously and they should last.
