if my Automatic Transmission Control Unit gone bad, would it cause an erratic shift...i was driving on D4 and like when i passed over 30 miles the car shift hard, it jerk the car back, and sometimes it shift to...i don't even know what gear, it's crazy..

well the whole problem is my old one is bad..i think..so the shop replace another one, and it still does it...

and can someone please tell me what AT control unit this serial coming from..

28100-P5M-A03 is it from a H22

 

What year Prelude do you have? If its a 5th Gen. then they always have problems. If you do a search, you'll probably find alot of threads talking about how the 5th Gen. Preludes trannies suck and always go out. So your tranny is probably going out and you'll going to need a new one pretty soon

 

my tranny did went out, only reverse was working...so i took it to a shop and after getting it fixed"partially" well the mechanic told me that he had taken the tranny apart tons of times to try and fix the problem...but noluck on anything...the gear does now work but like i said he recommend me taking it to an electrical shop, as he mention it's an electrical issue..

i did a lil search and came upon this AT CONTROL UNIT box, but than agian im not really sure what causes the problem...however the mechanic did changed the AT control unit but i don't know if the one he put in there work or not..

help me out guys...anything is apprciated
