Default code 9???

so i have a check engine light...i check out the code and it checks out #9....now i look and my code list and see thats its "cylinder sensor".....so after i find this im stumped....wtf does it mean?!! some1 told me it was probably the pick up in the dizzy, but if any1 knows for sure, let me know...

this is on an obd1 right?

it should just be one of the pick ups I believe. do you have another dizzy to try.

yeah obd1...i dont have another internal coil distributor, but i do have a good external...would i be ble to take out the pick ups from the old one to put in my internal coil distributor???

well i changed the ignitor already, it went bad last week...and wiring came out good, and then all of a sudden i got this code, so wiring shouldnt be an issue..lol...i'll let you know how it goes.

lucky enough for me i got sapare parts...but i cant figure how to take it apart

Its not that hard. get a flat head and phillips screw driver and your set. pull out all internals switch the one you need. you can tell by color or wires. and them put it back in. simple

i cant figure out how to remove the two bottom pick ups...i've removed every damn screw and they are loose, just no space to take them out! wtf?! lol
