code 41 - oxygen sensor heater?
ok...after installing a new jdm h22 engine, i had to run a regular h23 computer for awhile...and it ran decent; just had no vtec....i finally get a p13 and plug it all up, and i got a check engine light with code 41. what happens is whenever i start the car up, it won't stay running. or as soon as i touch the gas, it stalls out.
could this be from a bad oxygen sensor? is the sensor a little spark plug looking thing a little ways in front of the catalytic converter? if so, i checked the wires to it and they're fine... any help appreciated!

Check once more all the wires going to the sensor. Pay special attention to the white one if there are any shorts there. I had the same code and it appeared that insulation was stripped from the white wire.

how do i check the whole wires? i'd have to rip it out of the casing they're in all the way up to where they're connected..that's a lot of time...can i just hook a multimeter up to it or something? how would i do this?
pentaq, when you had this code did your engine run the same way?

if i do end up having to get a new oxygen sensor what one would i buy? should i get one for a '92 lude? or one from what kind of engine i have like say a '93 lude vtec? or do is it really matter?
