code 4
EDIT* CODE 9 not code 4
I did some searchig on this, and I've found some interesting info. However, I'm still a bit confused. The code came on after I hit a big bump and I haven't been able to get it off. Actually, after the bump, I had 3 codes with which I was able to get rid of 2, but the code 9 still remains.
Many people suggested the dizzy, which I replaced and still have the code. So now I'm left with checking the wiring and continuity. If the continuity checks out okay, how likely could it be the wiring to the ecu or the ecu itself? Have many people experienced a short in the wiring or the ecu?
What other problems could it be if the wiring is okay and how abouts do you go checking the wiring? Just simply run a wire from the dizzy to the ecu? I guess to test the ecu, just swap in another socketed ecu right?
Thanks in advance.

check the plugs, the part where the pin goes in with the rubber grommet.
My TBS wire backed out some how and I kept getting a code because it kept losing connection.
If that is the crank sensor code odds are it is something wrong with the wiring or your timingbelt is off. I'll bet it is a wiring issue.
EDIT: If it is code 9 you really need to go back and check your wiring. You either have no signal at all or it is being interupted.
