Now i keep on getting code 3.. which is the map sensor.. i already did what the Helm's manual says... step by step and everything checks ok... the only thing i havent checked to is to replace for a good working known ecu... what else can i check for???

what did you do last to your engine/car before you threw this code?

 

its the black thing on the firewall right behind the intake manifold. it's held by a little bracket and there are wires hooked up to it.

 

I you using a VAFC, that may be your problem. I had the samething happen to me, disconnected the MAP lines on the VAFC and no problems what so ever...

 

You may just need to get a new one

 

same here. i'm about to go re-do my wiring.... hopefully that will fix it.
