umm ok i have the jdm h22a vtec engine. i was running the p14 for a while til i got the money to get the p13. so i finally got it and its throwing code 22..i have triple checked the connections. code 22 is the pressure switch correct. someone said to clean the solenoid but i dont know how to ge it of..any suggestions or could anyone tell me how to get it off..also would this cause my car to run a little sluggish...

What year is the engine and ecu? Also, check ur oil level, of course, if u haven't already.

 

yeah top off on oil, unplug then unbolt the solenoid from the block. theres a filter inside it make sure thats not clogged.

 

if its clogged up will that cause it to throw the cel

ok so i took the pressure switch off but still couldnt get the solenoid off..any clues..maybe i not catching one of the bolts...arent there just three bolts
